Allow me to introduce myself. I am John Thiel, less liberal and lusty than nature. My website is devoted to science fiction, fantasy and general interchange or communications, and I favor poetry, art, aesthetics and the transcendent as topics. I admire the Internet as an approximation of the Universal Mind of which Man dreams.

Since I began working with the computer I have established contact with websites in England, Russia and India. In the United States I have website contact with Washington D.C. and Hollywood, California. I like to surf the entertainment networks and I enjoy the Christina Aguilera home page and Jessica Alba fan page. Research-wise, I copy-out a history of science fiction fandom. Also I enjoy compiling a file of Internet-descriptive pages.

I also like Internet action, and in the time I have been using the computer I have cleaned out a den of nefarious ne'er-do-wells at SciFi Dominion, introduced some concepts of coherent order at ScopieChat, and had communicative interchange with the Mystery Science website, the Christina Aguilera home page, Analog's site, and have represented the interests of SETI at Yahoo Chat's "Beyond the Earth". I can be found at numerous other science fiction and entertainment bulletin boards.

I've been publishing amateur magazines for quite some time. The list, numbering about twenty, includes Caveat Emptor, The International Youngfan, The Rebel, Pablo Lennis, Ionisphere (the spelling here is to distinguish it from a scientific journal), The Rivet (a humor magazine), and APA-H. Still running is Pablo Lennis. Information is available.

I've done poetry readings at a dozen places including a radio station, and have done occasional performances of magic.
