The boa constrictor is a taste

Of what it's like to enter space—

To feel your brains squished into jelly

(As your pants do something smelly)…

And so this is what I propose

To cut down costs for any of those

Who wish to enter the space program:

Get a constrictor for each of them

And then if the person ain't properly trained

The boa constrictor can eat his brain.
