What will happen next in these latter days of the Apocalypse?

Herbert Jerry Baker does not hesitate to take on Ra, the Sun God of ancient Egypt, and unlike his characters he does it with a great ease and fluency, as you will see in “The Sun God” in our next, or January, issue.  Joanne Tolson will be right back with “Shadow Man”, the story of a genius heap of writers, most of them imaginary—if not all of them.  Rose Gordy will be back with “The Lake”, an intimate look at the end of the world. And Albert J. Manachino is perfectly frightful with “Firebird”, a story that will get into your house! So take a peek at the next issue, and by the way, if you write yourself, perhaps you can give us a look at a new author or two.

Guidelines for Writers

Go ahead, blow everyone's mind!  We like the reader to come partway out of his chair, and then settle back down, assimilating what he has seen.  Try not to be profane, abusive, or vulgar in your work, though.  That's getting less Surprising.
