Grand Canyon 2000

For this trip to the Grand Canyon, we took Adventure Photo Tours. We were picked up at our hotel early. The was another couple from England already in the Expedition. Our guide drove us out 93 through Boulder City, over the dam to Kingman, AZ where you will join Interstate 40 East for a short distance. Turn north onto Highway 66 and proceed to Peach Springs.

In Peach Tree, we stopped at the Hualapai Lodge the guide paid our fees and bought some fry bread. (lodge pictures)

We drove - Drive Down

At the bottom of the Grand Canyon, we stood in the Colorado River, ate Lunch and fry bread, took some pictures and headed back up the way we came in.

We drove back up to the Lodge. Then we headed over to the Rim .

Then we headed over to Joshua Tree Forest

We stopped above Hoover Dam for a nigh shot of Hoover Dam. Then we headed back to our room. It has been another long day. It was a beutiful trip.
