Threads of Time

By Joanne Tolson

Begins with a big bang.
Creation of Eden after the dinosaurs die off.
From man's creation and the evolution of his lineage to divine,
Man clusters on Earth like grapes on a vine,
Awaiting harvest of time.
Like many threads unraveled, some in a pattern leading somewhere.
Some lead nowhere in time, but to our destiny,
Unraveling like the threads of time,
Flying like splinters into outer space,
Planets floating do the cosmic ballet like shards of time,
Moving along the cosmic ripples in the galaxy like waves in the Universe.
