Hear his voice
Don't close your eyes and ears
You have no choice
Things happened before you
Which you must know
Things which are now long past
Places you can't go.
There was wisdom in that past
Which has gone away
Wisdom which could help our search
For the truth today.
Perhaps if you learn these lessons
As you are told to do
Some day you can teach others
Much wiser than you.
