Depths

By Karl Watson

Deep from the depths of the waterless seas
A vision came to me
Of the Old Ones who came before
And what their eyes could see.
Colorless colors we could not know
And shapes beyond compare
That only left my human eyes
With a sightless stare.
I wish I could tell you of what I saw
So far beyond the norm,
But I could never describe
Their silent formless form.
