*Bob Bolin lives in Lovington, New Mexico and is the author of a series of stories featuring Prell, his science fiction hero, who has a stint placed in his brain that enables him to go into robot mode. In this manner, he can avoid monotony in space and is enabled to act mechanically, to withstand great pain and be much stronger than normal. His wife, Lolaginna, from the newly discovered tenth planet of the Solar System, Shiftland, has taught him how to carry on conversations with others by mental telepathy.

One of Bob's latest stories is titled “Ancient Worlds,” and appeared in the second issue of Surprising Stories. He has also written the new piece about Prell and a man who calls himself God that appears in this issue. A great struggle occurs between Prell and this false God. Bob has also written about other fictional characters in the past. He wrote childrens' stories for several years and sold many of them. He now concentrates on writing science fiction.

Bob has been commander of his local VFW and is now President of the local chapter of AARP. “I'm not bragging, just keep getting into something, sometimes worthwhile,” he says.

*Robert W. Chandler graduated from Troy State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2003.  He has been writing for a few years now and is currently working on his first novel, The Price of a Crown .  He lives with his wife and 2 year old daughter in Ozark, Alabama.
